Phase Define - Sigma Practitioner or we can called it Expert need to understand the whole process , seat with the different stakeholders understand the in and out process outcome and its merely impact on the business
Phase Measure - as its ongoing activity need to ensure he/she is align with stakeholders and measure that effectively as per the deliverables or commitment
Phase Analyse - Very critical and important step in DMAIC to analyse the gap between current and desired performance and prioritise the business problems. if there are still issues with the datasets or the information use best practises to identify the root cause
Phase improve - we went through so far D,M,A if the issue still persist follow the step from D again which help to get solution, Why this approach reason behind is when in improve stage we have the solution in place and its not up to the mark and impacting on business financial then its poor skilling of collecting information , Hence in improve stage ensure we are having the information correct , we calculate that correct as per the business outcome which will not impact on the business financials.
Phase Control : Every step is equally important D,M,A,I these steps needs to be in continuous form to have it in this nature control needs to be there which keep a control if each step is adhering particular way of handling information / calculation methodology or Process steps followed correctly .
